Quadra, specialized in the design and construction of complete and customized production units, designs and develops a unique facility dedicated to the manufacture of hemp blocks. From the reception of raw materials to the packaging of finished products, Quadra has developed and designed equipment specifically dedicated to these bio-sourced products.
Concrete batching plant, vibrating press, and handling equipment have been specifically designed to be able to produce with recipes based on bio-sourced materials. The different elements of the plant take into consideration the typical characteristics of hemp, whose behavior differs from conventional aggregates.
Equipped with a high-performance, patented vibration system, this equipment allows the fully automated production of hemp blocks. In order to compact the hemp homogeneously and precisely over the entire height of the product, Quadra has equipped its vibrating press with the latest vibration technology. The piling and guiding conditions have also been designed to meet longer travel distances and stringent guiding characteristics. The movement of the rammer is synchronized to ensure precise positioning. The speed of the rammer movement is controlled by proportional control and the continuous control of its movement is achieved by linear rules. The manufacturing conditions thus enable products with very precise dimensional characteristics to be obtained.
The production unit is managed by a modern and complete control software entirely developed by Quadra. The whole plant is graphically displayed, which enables the operator to easily and quickly supervise the production cycle.
A touch screen terminal allows the adjustment and viewing of all parameters. A clear, intuitive and user-friendly interface allows easy modification of the block machine settings without interfering with the production.
Machine settings are stored and recorded by production recipe for easy retrieval of the manufacturing parameters related to a type of product.
